Joseph Drouhin Puligny Montrachet 2017
'Our Puligny Montrachet is a wine of great finesse and elegance. The color is pure and bright, with light glints of white gold. The aromas evoke trees in bloom and white flesh fruit, like white peaches. With age, the aromas evolve towards almond and lightly grilled dried fruit. On the palate, there is a sensation of fresh silkiness. Long and persistent in the aftertaste, ending on an exceptional wealth of flavors, both floral and fruity.' - Véronique Boss-Drouhin

Wine SpectatorFeatures a sleek core, revealing lemon, apple and baking spice flavors, with soft touches around the edges. This white emphasizes structure and lemon and spice notes on the finish. Drink now through 2024. 1,500 cases imported.
VinousThe 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Village is a little fuller on the nose than the Meursault Village, featuring attractive aromas of hazelnut and orange pith – actually quite Meursault-like in style. The palate is well balanced with impressive concentration, especially for a Village Cru, and crammed full of green apples and pears. A light saline note emerges toward the satisfying finish. Excellent.
