Founded in 1825, today Domaine Faiveley combines the principles of modern winemaking methods with the time-honored traditions of France's noble Burgundy region. This red is from one of the illustrious Grand Cru vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin : Charmes-Chambertin. We are very happy to present this 2017 which will give silky, velvety textures at a young age.

Lots of roses and spice make this seductive, in spite of its youth. Rich and very suave with very polished tannins, which build to form a tidal wave at the supple finish. Better from 2022.

Effusive aromas of ripe cherry, wild berry, incense and woodsy wild herb mark this lithe red. Shows good concentration, stretching out with fruit, spice and earth notes on the finish. Best from 2022 through 2038.
