M. Haslinger & Fils Ice and Ink Gift Pack

This genius gift set has 6 half bottles of Champagne, 3 Brut and 3 Brut Rosé, made by our new favorite Champagne house : M. Haslinger. The really cool thing about this set, and why it’s called Ice and Ink, is because the bottles can be written on with a gold sharpie (provided in box), perfect for a Bridal shower game or Girls Night Out. It also then converts into an ice box for chilling on-the-go. This is much fun!! 

Named for Jean-Remy Rapeneau's mother's maiden name, Haslinger Champagne is produced at the historic G.H. Martel Champagne Company. In 1869 Martel was founded by the energetic Henry Leopold Tabourin in the small village of Avenay, just a few kilometers outside of Epernay. Today the M. Haslinger Brut is dominated by red grapes, typically 40-45% Pinot Noir and 30-35% Pinot Meunier with 15-20% Chardonnay. This cuvée sees primary fermentation in small oak cask, not stainless steel, resulting in a wine that is at once powerful and full-bodied, and with richness and staying power, reminiscent of a 'junior version' of the world famous Bollinger Champagne. Malolactic fermentation is avoided, promoting verve and tension, drive and energy across the palate. 

The Brut Rosé is made of 50% Pinot noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. Its elegant salmon-pink color leads to a delicate and silky nose with red fruit and floral aromas. The palate is well balanced and seductive, the finish is delicate and fruity yet dry.  A lovely aperitif or to serve with seafood appetizers and shellfish dishes.
