The 2018 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of fruits from some of the best Cabernet growing regions in Napa Valley, including the hillside block of Napa Carneros vineyard, and another small family vineyard situated within 1500 feet elevation on the eastern slope of Atlas Peak. A touch of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petite Sirah, and Petit Verdot balance the rich dark fruit and soft tannins, adding a vibrancy to its lush mouthfeel and lingering dry finish with balanced acidity. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in 70% French oak (30% new) and 30% American oak. Bold and balanced, with aromas of dark fruit, cassis, pepper, and smokiness accented with spice notes. A hint of forest, light cedar oak and dusty baking cocoa combine these aromatics to create this rich medium-bodied Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
