The Parent sisters are serious growers whose estate has been certified organic by Ecocert since 2003 vintage. Located in Pommard, in the heart of Côte d'Or, the domaine is run by Anne Parent and Catherine Fages-Parent, representing the 12th generation, and perpetuating a family tradition dating back to the 17th century. For years, the best growers in the Côte d’Or asked to have a specific classification for Bourgogne Cote d’Or created to signify the quality. This request was made law in 2018, hence the new label and name designation on this bottling. Domaine Parent was a big supporter of this decision as their Bourgogne is only sourced from the villages of Pommard and Volnay. Sourced from two parcels, exclusively domaine fruit. 40 to 50 year old vines.100% destemmed with no new oak used.
