Antiquum Farm Luxuria Pinot Noir 2018
Luxuria is Antiquum Farm's highest level of Pinot Noir, made by co-fermenting small portions of the estate's LaRock and DMC blocks. These small portions of two separate blocks have mutated to form their own micro-block with a personality that is unlike anything else in the vineyard. The lush fruit core is fully developed and encased in many layers of mature, fruit-centric tannin. Multiple waves of very pure dark stone fruits, and bramble are met by an electric focus to the countering bright acidity. The sumptuous oak treatment of 68% New French Oak plays nicely with the 'more-of-everything' theme of Luxuria. Drink now - 2028. Only 175 Cases Produced.

VinousDeep, bright-rimmed red. An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes ripe red and blue fruits, candied flowers and exotic spices, and a hint of blood orange sneaks up with air. Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering bitter cherry, boysenberry and spicecake flavors sweetened by a touch of vanilla. Shows excellent clarity and powerful, spicy thrust on a strikingly long, floral-driven finish framed by smooth, polished tannins. 68% new French oak. Drinking Window: 2022-2030.
Wine EnthusiastThis is smooth, firm and full-bodied. It takes a deep dive into dense, concentrated fruit flavors of black cherry and cassis, dusted with cocoa and baking spices. It manages to capture both the power and the grace of the finest Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs.
