The Frank Family winery was first constructed in 1884, part of the Larkmead winery. The beautiful stone building was refinished with native sandstone from the nearby hills in 1906 and today, is on the National Register of Historical Places and listed as a Point of Historical Interest in the state of California. Frank Family produces distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir and Petite Syrah.
Seamlessly woven in black cherry and cocoa, their flagship Cabernet is sumptuous and seductive in structure and complexity. The palate offers flavors of hazelnut, baked plum, and cloves while brilliant acidity on the finish balances the concentration of flavors and tannins.

Made up of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is very deep garnet-purple in color and displays expressive notions of baked plums, warm cassis and licorice with hints of bay leaves and scorched earth. Medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with juicy black fruit and earthy sparks, finishing chewy.
