Warre's Fine White Port

750ml
$16.99
Warre’s Fine White Port is produced from traditional white grape varieties from the Douro Region of Portugal. The fermentation takes place off the skins in order to produce a more delicate style of wine. Aging takes place in the Warre's lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia in a combination of oak casks and stainless steel tanks. It is refreshingly light in taste and an excellent aperitif.
The indigenous grapes which are blended include: Arinto, Códega, Malvasia Fina, Rabigato and Viosinho.
The delicate nose, fruity palate and long and crisp finish make this an excellent white port. White Port is also making a trendy statement across Europe, and especially in Portugal. A simple, chic drink being served in Lisbon = 1 part White Port, 2 parts Tonic over Ice with a slice of Orange.

This is luscious and creamy, with concentrated flavors of baked apple, vanilla, pear and almond tart that feature loads of spicy notes. Honey and crème brûlée accents linger on the long finish. Drink now through 2025. 800 cases imported.
