Wine AdvocateThe 2016 S de Suduiraut Blanc is a blend of 56% Semillon and 44% Sauvignon Blanc aged in 20% new oak for nine months. It was picked on 8 and 9 September. It has a fragrant bouquet with apple blossom and cold limestone scents, fresh and well defined. The palate is well balanced with a lively, orange zest tinged entry. There is lovely balance and freshness here with a poised, quite stony and reserved finish. There is a big difference between this and the Le Blanc Sec de Suduiraut. Rated 90-92
Wine SpectatorPlump, with a core of shortbread, white peach and clementine flavors, backed by hints of straw and macadamia nut. This has the cut for balance, but stays on the flattering side, letting the richness play out through the finish. Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Drink now through 2019.
