Ramey Wine Cellars California Tasting

Iconic winemaker Dave Ramey is one of the most passionate, quality-driven guys in all of California. His wines are rich, aromatic, pure and multi-layered, and his followers are many. Having spent alot of time in Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Loire and the Rhone, Ramey is deeply rooted in French winemaking tradition, such as highlighting specific growing sites and regions.

Robert Parker raves: 'David Ramey, one of the veterans of high-quality winemaking on California’s North Coast, worked in France and at some of the top Napa wineries (Rudd and Dominus) before setting up his own cellars in Healdsburg in Sonoma Valley. He makes Chardonnay in a Burgundian style with full malolactic fermentation, and now produces four single-vineyard Chardonnays as well as Russian River and Sonoma Coast bottlings.'

Ramey also makes stunning Cabernet! We have been offering his Napa and Annum bottlings for many vintages, we love these wines. Wine expert Jerry Baker from Skurnik Wines will be our VIP guest to host this special event featuring Ramey Cellars. Every year Jerry spends time with Dave Ramey, and has so many fascinating stories to tell about the the man, and his wines!  The exact wines and vintages to be poured will be determined in the coming weeks, but we will definitely be pouring top notch Chardonnay and Cabernet!!!
