Owner Elio Filippino is a third generation Piemontese winemaker producing classic local wines with organic and traditional methods. The estate celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, and we found the wines to be pure, classy and delicious. Pear, citrus and hints of pignoli nuts on the nose of this Gavi lead to more of the same in the mouth with excellent weight, complexity and freshness. Barbera d'Alba Nuela 2016

Owner Elio Filippino is a third generation Piemontese winemaker producing classic local wines with organic and traditional methods. We found the wines to be pure, classy and utterly delicious. This Barbera has aromas of cherry, violets and pomegranate with more of the same in the mouth, and hints of cocoa powder and stony soil on the finish.
