Since first working in her family's Mendocino vineyards, Kathryn Hall dreamed of a place to showcase fine wines alongside expressive art and masterful architecture. In 2005 Kathryn and Craig Hall built a state-of-the-art winery in the hills of Rutherford where they achieved her dream. Hall's estate vineyards encompass over 500 acres of classic Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. As winegrowers, the Halls have a strong respect for the environment and a commitment to cutting-edge vineyard technology to yield the highest quality grapes.
Hall Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of special lots from each of their five estate vineyards along with fruit from premiere Napa Valley vineyard partners. Their goal is to produce a dense, supple Cabernet Sauvignon that consistently over-delivers. The 2021 is expressive with aromas of dark cocoa, red berry, and dried herbs. The palate is lush and fruit-forward with hints of spice and leather. The tannin is polished-fully integrated and balanced through the lengthy finish.
Blend: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot
