This Washington State operation produces well-made, value wines year in and year out. Wine Advocate reports: 'Columbia Crest, part of the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, is Washington's largest winery. It produces mammoth amounts of wine (2,000,000+ cases) at a remarkably high level of quality. A visit to the cellars reveals brilliant organization, high morale, and a sense of personal involvement by the staff that undoubtedly adds value to the finished wine.' The Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Estates, of which they produce about one quarter of a million cases per year, typically has notes of cedar, tobacco, spice box, black currant, and blackberry in an easy-to-understand style which is nicely balanced and fairly long on the palate.

Wine EnthusiastThe aromas of milk chocolate, cherry and spice bring immediate appeal. The flavors are silky and polished, showing equal parts fruit and barrel.
