Ravenswood Vintners Blend Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

For years we have been telling our clients that although Ravenswood is most well-known for Zinfandel, the winery is a terrific source for this everyday Cabernet. It is hands down one of the best buys for tasty Cabs at the Bottle Shop. The goal of Ravenswood's Vintners Blend series is to showcase up-front fruit, attractive youthfulness, and nice complexities. Winemaker Joel Peterson also believes that Cabernet Sauvignon should exhibit rich currant and cassis flavors with fine, soft tannins and subtle oak notes. This is balanced and round, with quite a long finish. Serve with burgers, steaks and Mexican fare.
