Langlois-Chateau Crémant de Loire Brut
Founded in 1912, Maison Langlois-Chateau is located in St-Hilaire-St-Florent in the Loire Valley and has specialized in producing fine sparkling wines from its beginnings. The Langlois family was joined in ownership with Maison Bollinger from Champagne in 1973. Bollinger, another family enterprise, is located at Aÿ-Champagne and world renowned for producing high quality Champagne. Bollinger recognized the quality of Langlois-Chateau sparkling wines and acquired majority ownership, thus contributing its financial resources as well as its agencies in France and abroad. Michel Villedey, a son-in-law of the Bollinger family and also from Saumur, became president of the firm, assisted by Jean Leroux, son of Maurice.
