Mollydooker The Boxer Shiraz 2023

2005 was the first vintage of Mollydooker wines and created a frenzy among Australian and California wine drinkers because of the unabashed intensity and great ratings of these offerings. Mollydooker founders Sarah and Sparky Marquis were the brain trust and winemaking team behind the Marquis Philips line, also from Australia. Look for exuberant fruit, intense flavors, deep color and great length. The fruit is sourced from Shiraz vineyards in McLaren Vale, Padthaway and Langhorne Creek. 

Fast forward to 2018 and as is the case with any good story, one chapter comes to an end another one begins. These days, Sarah and Sparky are pursuing their own ‘Enchanted Paths’, with Sarah taking the reins as sole owner and winemaker of Mollydooker, now running the business with the support of the very talented and experienced Mollydooker team… and so a new, exciting chapter at Mollydooker begins!
