We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

From his 24 hectares of vineyard land centered in the Cotes de Grandlieu sub-zone, proprietor Serge Batard crafts wonderfully intense, pure, ripe Muscadet that nonetheless displays all the zingy acidity and palpable minerality you’d expect from this seaside appellation. By working the soils throughout the vegetation cycle, he is able to avoid the use of chemical fertilizers and weed killers in the vineyards. Prolonged lees aging and bottling without racking give the wines extra texture and richness. Furthermore, Batard vinifies his parcels separately, harvesting by hand and blending just before bottling for maximum control over the final wine.

Muscadet is a white French wine. It is made at the western end of the Loire Valley, near the city of Nantes in the Pays de la Loire region neighboring the Brittany Region. More Muscadet is produced than any other Loire wine. It is made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape, often referred to simply as melon. This high quality, small production Muscadet is made of 100% Melon de Bourgogne from 30 year old vines.
