The prestigious Barons de Rothschild family has owned vineyards in Bordeaux for many generations. In addition to the wines made from their world renowned vineyards, such as Lafite and Duhart Milon, Les Domaines Barons de Rothschild has been elaborating a range of wines which called 'Légende'. Inspired by a grand tradition of quality, the Domaines teams have one priority: selection of grapes and vineyards. Their mastery and perfect knowledge of Bordelais cepages are responsible for the unparalleled quality of their wines. After de-stemming and crushing, the selected plots of Pauillac were vinified separately for this wine before blending 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. The wine was aged for 12 months in barrels, followed by fining with egg whites. Look for a beautiful deep crimson color with a complex and elegant nose dominated by aromas of red fruits, cinnamon and vanilla. The wine has a round and fleshy attack with ripe and well integrated tannins. This is elegant and silky.
