The Azienda Agricola Falletto Winery is comprised of twenty hectares of vineyards within the Serralunga d'Alba, La Morra and Barbaresco areas. The vine growing and wine making processes are followed through with great care from beginning to end, culminating with vinification and aging within their cellars in Neive. Bruno Giacosa has a superb reputation for producing some of the best wines of Piedmont. The Giacosa name clearly means quality. This wine is made from 100% estate grown fruit and then vinified in the Giacosa cellars. When the label says, 'Azienda Agricola Falletto di Bruno Giacosa', that means that the wine is made exclusively from estate grown fruit. This Barolo is has a garnet red color with orange reflections. The ample and complex bouquet has notes of red fruits, truffles, flowers and licorice. In the mouth it feels dry, full and velvety, unfolding a great personality.

This is a really dense red with intensity and beauty, showing dried fruit, such as strawberries, as well as chocolate, tar, hazelnuts and meat. Really complex and rich. Opulent, yet tense with dusty tannins. Extremely long. Great finish. Hard not to drink now, but will age incredibly well.

With the white label, the 2019 Barolo Falletto Vigna Le Rocche is a generous and expansive wine that hits the palate from all sides. It offers lingering sensations of sweet fruit with a good amount of intensity and muscle power pushing from behind. That forward momentum is fueled by dark fruit, rusty earth, wet clay and blood orange. It shows elegance, substance and finely tuned tones with considerable tension and tightness. This is another bottle to rest at the back of your cellar.

This round, rich red is laced with cherry, raspberry, iron, earth and underbrush aromas and flavors. There's a firm structure, with burly yet well-integrated tannins providing support and the ability to age. Overall, this is balanced and long, with a persistent aftertaste of fruit, mineral and savory notes. Best from 2027 through 2048. 225 cases imported.
