Brothers Guiseppe and Pietro Simi hailed from Italy's Tuscany region. They came to California in search of gold then founded Simi Winery in 1876. Today you could say that Chardonnay is the Simi family's 'Gold.' Made of a blend of Chardonnay from Sonoma's Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley and Carneros, Simi Chardonnay has buttery, citrus fruit flavors and a creamy finish with peach, honey, lemon, spice and pineapple accents on the finish. Serve with fried shrimp, buttery lobster dishes or triple cream cheeses. Simi Chardonnay is one of our popular 'Super Sale' wines.

Wine EnthusiastThis offers great value for the quality, a mix of salty brine, stone and caramel apple that delves into more voluptuous dabs of pineapple. Light-bodied and food-friendly, it shows focused acidity and restrained oak.

Wine AdvocateFaintly scented of ripe apples, honeydew melons and oak notes, the 2015 Chardonnay Sonoma County has a medium-bodied, wood-influenced and uncomplicated palate with youthful freshness to its credit.
