Broadside Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.
Broadside combines the talents of winemakers Chris Brockway of Broc Cellars and Brian Terrizzi of Giornata to produce artisanal California wines from interesting vineyards in small quantities at reasonable pricepoints. Their winemaking favors a natural approach in that all wines are minimally handled to best express the grape, site and vintage. Broadside is committed to producing wines with balance and finesse that will work well on the dinner table. They harvest at lower sugars, employ native fermentation and use little to no new oak.
Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon is the culmination of years of sustained vineyard efforts and an ideally balanced growing season. Sourced from a couple of Broadside's favorite vineyards in the Paso Robles AVA, it combines the vibrant aromatic intensity of Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon with a lush berry and spice-infused palate. Maturation - 14 Months in netural French & American oak.
Wine EnthusiastA go-to brand for everyday sipping, this offers easily enjoyable aromas of dense blueberry, menthol, cedar and leather. The fruit-forward palate shows red cherry, bramble and red plum, with just enough tannin and acidity to stand up to dinner.
Wine SpectatorThough drinkable, this lacks cohesion, as the parts are not greater than the sum. A strongly oaked wine with dark berry flavors and more edges than straight-aways. Drink now. 30,000 cases made.
