Made in the Santa Rita Hills of California, this clean, crisp, Chablis-style Chardonnay mineral, yellow peach, fresh rain, Asian pear, saline, candied ginger and lavender cream aromas and flavors. Aged for 11 months in neutral oak with 10% Stainless Steel Aging, this is a small production, unique California Chard. The winemakers suggest pairing with Sushi.

Believing that all great wine starts in the vineyard, Liquid Farm owners
Nikki & Jeff Nelson allow the wines to develop on their own with little intervention, minimal or no new oak and use no additives or machines to manipulate the wines inherent personality. The project is also committed to blending from the handful of special vineyards they work with in the small AVA of Sta. Rita Hills to produce a collection of Chardonnays that are markedly different expressions, but with the same thread of intense minerality and salinity they started with in the vineyard.

Wine EnthusiastExtremely fresh and chalky on the nose, this blend of nine vineyards is a stunner, showing aromas of Key lime and tangerine pith across a very tightly wound, tense and energetic frame. The palate rides a bright white line of limestone, fresh lime and yellow grapefruit, with a grippy structure that engages the whole mouth in the sip. It will last for years, but it's great now.

Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Chardonnay White Hill is easily the most fresh, lively and racy, with classy notes of white flowers, mineral and white peach aromas and flavors. Elegant, laser focused and pure, it's mostly from Bentrock and Kessler-Haak vineyards and spent 10 months in 10% stainless steel and 90% in neutral barrel. Drink this beauty over the coming 4-5 years.
