Paul Hobbs is one of California's most respected winemakers as well as being a highly sought after winemaker consultant for several wineries. He splits his time between California wine country and the sun drenched vineyards of Argentina. Robert Parker praises Hobbs : 'Paul Hobbs is one of the most brilliant winemakers working in California. His empire in the Russian River continues to expand, with a bevy of artisinal hand-made Cabernet Sauvignons, Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs, and Syrahs.' Look for citrus and crème brûlée in the nose leading to a palate with ripe apple, sautéed fig and nectarine. This wine is well balanced and focused, and complemented by a lengthy finish. Typically aged 11 months in French oak, 58% new.
