Jules Taylor Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Creating honest, tasty, fruit-packed Marlborough wines is what Jules does best. Her wine is for people who laugh. People who sing, dance, feast and celebrate. People who sit out on the back deck with friends and family. Born in Marlborough in the year the first vines were planted, local girl Jules has literally grown up with Sauvignon Blanc. Deeply invested in the region and its grape-growing families, and throughout her career, Jules has made some of Marlborough’s best known and successful wines (including during her stint at the original Kim Crawford). In addition to making wine at home in New Zealand, several life-affirming vintages spent in Italy underscored Jules’ love of wine as a simple pleasure to be enjoyed alongside good food and great friends. 

With encouragement from friends and mentors, Jules branched out on her own, founding “Jules Taylor Wines” in 2001 with a mere 200 cases. She jokes that if they didn't sell, the family would just share them round for a very boozy Christmas! But all is going well with awards and accolades to back her up, and after tasting this, her signature wine, we understand why!

When Jules talks about Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, clouds part and celestial choirs sing. She's not known as "The Queen of Sauvignon Blanc" for nothing. Jules loves this wine because it is so expressive of where it was grown. It’s a grape that, within a row - even within a bunch - has a mind-blowing range of characters. This is a benchmark Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - dry, aromatic, and full of full-throttle flavour, just the way Jules likes it.
