Ampeleia Unlitro Bianco Toscano 2025

In inauguration of the 15th anniversary of Unlitro, here is the debut of its Bianco counterpart.  It is a blend of Trebbiano Toscano, Vermentino, and Malvasia and includes some purchased fruit from partner wineries, certified organic or in conversion to biodynamics, where Ampeleia has continous input and collaboration in the vineyards.  Average altitudes are 200m.  Direct-pressed, all concrete.

'The Unlitro wines from Ampeleia are among the best values around. This lively white blend is bright, bone-dry and refreshing. It’s made with organically or biodynamically farmed vermentino, malvasia and trebbiano Toscano, grown at high altitude in the Maremma region on the Tuscan coast. It would be great with pastas like a basil pesto as well as shrimp dishes. The Unlitro red is great as well.'
