| Origin | Italy, Tuscany, Brunello di Montalcino |
Located in the esteemed sub-zone of Castelnuovo dell’Abate, the La Colombina Brunello di Montalcino is a powerful yet poised expression of 100% Sangiovese. This estate-grown wine benefits from a unique microclimate and meticulous craftsmanship, undergoing an extended aging process of 30 to 40 months in a strategic mix of large traditional botti and smaller French oak barriques. Following an additional 8 months of bottle refinement before release, the wine emerges with a complex profile of ripe berries, dark chocolate, and savory grilled meat. With a limited production of only 1,200 cases annually, this practicing organic Brunello offers a chewy, medium-to-full-bodied structure and a persistent, savory finish that rewards both immediate enjoyment and careful cellaring.
