In wines from Puglia, you will experience all the warmth of those southern latitudes, including the sincerity and warm welcome of the people. Here in the south of Italy, food & wine are a religion. And wines play the best part – taking the spotlight on the table. Sincere, wholesome wines, born of a maniacal attention to the vine, but also of the latest technologies used in the winery. Wines that envelop the palate in a velvet embrace, gratifying the need for flavor with expressive tannins, ripe fruits and wonderful balance. These are the vines and the wines of Southern Italy, bottled by Ronco di Sassi and brought to your table.
This singular wine from Puglia is deep dark red in color. Sundrenched flavors of wild berries, cherries and blackberries, wrapped in notes of cocoa, licorice, spices and tobacco. Smooth and caressing in the mouth and harmonious with a persistent finale. This is a wine that conveys the beauty of the Mediterranean in every sip.

A blend of 78% Primitivo and 22% Malbec. They said it couldn't be done, but to create a new experience you must do something that's never been done before; so, when the winemaker saw how well Malbec grows in Puglia, he challenged tradition and married it with Primitivo. The result is Ronco di Sassi, a unique southern blend of two grapes typically associated with two different hemispheres.
