Faustini is the Napa Valley passion project of our friends Anthony and Michelle Faustini. After much research during the summer of 2005, this enthusiastic couple started their first Cabernet project with fruit sourced from the illustrious Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard in St. Helena and never looked back. Their winemaker Kian Tavakoli worked at both Opus One and Clos du Val, and is a graduate of UC Davis. With Faustini wines, it's all about using prime vineyard sites and crafting rich, balanced, elegant wines. In addition to sourcing Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, they use fruit from Galleron Road Vineyard in Rutherford, Howell Mountain and Coombsville Vineyard in Napa Valley.
Mueller Vineyard Malbec refers to bold, structured Malbec wines from the Carneros AVA (Napa/Sonoma) grown at vineyards like McKenzie-Mueller, known for rich, dark fruit (berries, plum), mocha, spice, firm tannins, deep color and intense flavor, with producers like McKenzie Mueller Vineyards & Winery Modus Wines and Faustini making exceptional examples
