Located south of Dijon in the Côte-d’Or department, Meursault is a Burgundian village in the heart of the Côte de Beaune and is famous for its high-quality white wines and and elegant red wines. The famed Matrot family domaine, founded in 1835, is located in Meursault but also makes high quality wines from neighboring villages like Puligny Montrachet. Today, Adele, Elsa and their parents Pascale and Thierry Matrot work together, ensuring the highest level of wine growing, winemaking, wine aging and wine marketing.
This is a super rare premier cru Puligny-Montrachet from the wonderful Matrot family. Look for intense citrus and floral aromas with a flinty edge. Exotic and ripe citrus fruits on the palate are underpinned by thrilling minerality and freshness. This is a drop-dead gorgeous puligny.
