Alois Lageder Terra Alpina Pinot Grigio 2024

Crafted by the famed Alois Lageder estate, this fine Pinot Grigio hails from "Dolomiti", a region which refers to the Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT, a geographical indication (IGT) for wines produced in the foothills of the Dolomite mountains in northern Italy. The IGT designation indicates a specific geographical area within the Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto regions. 

Aromatically the wine has notes of wildflowers, melons, orchard fruits and a hint of warm spices. On the palate the wine surprisingly medium bodied with a slightly waxy mouth feel, with ripe fruit flavors and a lingering flavor of white pepper.
