Denthis Stamnaki Agiorgitiko 2023

"Stamnaki" meaning "wine jug" in Greek is an ode to indigenous ancient Greek wine varieties, through simple, honest single variety wines. This classic Greek red is made of 100% Agiorgitiko in the PGI region of the Peloponnese where the Agiorgitiko grape thrives. Made using very low intervention, in an effort to produce a natural wine, the grapes are cold pressed then fermented at low temperatures and aged in stainless steel to preserve freshness. This is a fun, ripe, delicious, red fruit-driven red with a hint of 'Garden of Eden' sweet earthiness.
