Castellino Marinated Artichokes

Since 1963 ,Castellino has specialized in vegetable products from the heart of the Marche region of Italy. Crafted foods with a refined and distinct Mediterranean taste, they make pesto, cremas and bruschettas, grilled, marinated and stuffed vegetables. Francesco Lombardo carries on the tradition started by his father. These Italian artichokes are marinated in sunflower seed oil and vinegar with a selection of Italian herbs. 

Add to your antipasto platter or to a salad, pasta dish, in sandwiches, on pizza or in sauces. Recipe ideas: Creamy artichoke spinach dip, topping on crostini with ricotta and lemon zest. Saute artichokes in brown butter with capers and pour over pan-seared, grilled or oven baked fish.

Benefits of sunflower oil: Sunflower oil is high in unsaturated fats, which can be beneficial for heart health when used in place of saturated fats. It's also a good source of vitamin E, an antioxidant that protects cells from damage.
