The Hosmer family has been farming wine grapes in the Finger Lakes for 50+ years and Cabernet Franc is a specialty of the region and on their sustainable estate. Look for ripe, smooth flavors of mulberry, plum, raspberry, wild strawberry, sage, thyme and basil. This is fresh, pure and balanced. Excellent. Estate bottled.

This cherry juice-hued red dishes up pleasant varietal notes of white pepper, dried herbs and softly succulent red berries. It's midweight with a silky mouthfeel, crisp acidity and a soft, savory spiced spine of tannins. A lovely, cool-climate expression.

The 2022 Cabernet Franc is very peppery and laden with pretty florals. Translucent ruby-hued in the glass, it opens with rose stem, cracked black pepper and lavender, with a kick of blood orange acidity lending a bracing structure. This is a very civilized Franc.
