Filotea Egg Spaghetti alla Chitarra Black Squid Ink
Filotea's Spaghetti alla Chitarra is handmade with squid ink in the dough. Very impressive and with a delicate taste. Filotea Egg Pasta is artisan made from a unique recipe, made of a mixture of durum wheat semolina, 00 flour and fresh eggs, in a slow drying process, at a low temperature. The taste resembles the fresh homemade pasta, but as it is dry, it can still be stored up to two years. Cooking time 3 minutes. We are obsessed with Filotea! Toss this authentic squid ink pasta with shrimp, scallops, clams and/or langostino's.
We met the owner of Filotea Pasta here at the Bottle Shop a few years back. He is a truly humble and hard-working Italiano, we understand why this product is so delicious, consistent and authentic. His staff is making pasta by hand and boxing it by hand every single day.
