From the Saint-Émilion wine region in the Bordeaux, Château Teyssier is a fragrant, medium-plus-bodied blend of mostly Merlot with Cabernet Franc, 100% estate bottled from a historic Grand Cru vineyard. Look for crushed violets, warm plum, red cherry, mocha and sweet spice aromas on the nose. Elegant and plush on the palate with juicy plum, blackberry, dried herbs, sandalwood, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange zest and well-integrated oak spice flavors on the palate and a smooth, seductive finish.

One can always expect a nice pop of flavor in Jonathon Maltus' Teyssier reds. This 2022 is a perfect example. Bright, ripe and ample, Teyssier Saint Emilion will do well with or without food, but if you plan on serving red meats or aged cheeses, this is a terrific partner.
