'A Vita Winery Vino Bianco Leuko 2020

The 2020 Bianco Leuko is a golden peach color in the glass. The delicate bouquet shows dried apricots with hints of grapefruit rind, dusty yellow flowers an draw almond. its textures are weighty, almost-glycerol-like in feel; yet balance is maintained through mineral tinged acids, sour citrus and orchard fruits. This leaves the palate dry yet coated in a residual display of all the fruits and florals found within, along with a nuance of honeyed apples and spice that lingers long. What a fun wine. The Leuko is a blend of 70% Greco Bianco and 30% Gaglioppo that co-ferments spontaneously and then spends nine months refining on the lees.
