Founded in 1825, today Domaine Faiveley combines the principles of modern winemaking methods with the time-honored traditions of France's noble Burgundy region. They make wines from the most famous Grand Cru vineyards in the region : Charmes-Chambertin and Mazoyères-Chambertin, and they are also famous for their terroir-driven Mercurey wines, like this one from a single vineyard that the Faiveley family owns 100% of, making it a special Burgundian monopole.
This wine reveals a powerful, fruity nose combining rich notes of red and black fruits and a subtle hint of oak. La Framboisière offers a powerful palate dominated by crunchy red fruits. Its velvety tannins and exceptional length make it a pleasure to drink.

This red bursts with youthful, juicy black cherry and blackberry flavors, accented by mint, spice and earth. Well defined and intense, ripe fruit and mineral notes linger on the resonant finish. Best from 2023 through 2035.

Bursting with aromas of raspberries, plums and dark chocolate, the 2018 Mercurey La Framboisière is medium to full-bodied, deep and fleshy, with a generous core of fruit and an unusually muscular chassis of rich, powdery tannin by the standards of this routinely ethereal cuvée. It has turned out well, but it will benefit from a year or two of bottle age.
