Château Gloria Esprit De Gloria 2019

This is the Chateau Gloria's second label, Espirit de Gloria, from the Saint Julien appellation. Made from made the younger vines of the estate, all the fruit is picked by hand followed by traditional winemaking including temperature controlled fermentation and aging in French oak barrique. This wine reflects the typicity of the Saint-Julien appellation and may be enjoyed younger than the first wine of Gloria. The Domaines Henri Martin owns Château Gloria, Château Saint-Pierre, 4ème Grand Cru Classé and Château Bel Air Gloria, Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois.  

Saint-Julien is the smallest of the four major Médoc appellations in size, but it has a world renowned reputation. The appellation boasts the highest concentration of “1855 crus classés”: 11 estates and over 900 hectares of vines. In fact, you can be sure that there are no sub-quality wines in Saint-Julien. Saint-Julien wines are considered quintessential Médoc wines, striking a balance between the softness and femininity of Margaux and the strength of Pauillac. It offers the full flavor, fruit and delicacy of the former along with the robustness and structure of the latter.
