Meaning 'Daughter' in Italian, Figlia is the 'little sister' to Figgins Estate Red. Named after Chris Figgins' daughters, Raegan and Scarlett, the 2020 is the fifth release of Figlia. A deeply flavored blend of Petit Verdot and Merlot blend, Figlia has deep color to the rim. It sports a nose of vanilla cream soda, plum. fig jam and blueberry compote, spring garden flowers, and thyme. Silky, sultry, and broad on the palate with fine-grained tannin and crisp acidity on the finish. This wine is crafted to be more approachable in its youth than the Estate Red, with richness of flavor coupled with remarkable freshness.
100% estate bottled from the Figgins Estate Vineyard, aged 22 months in French oak barrels, only 865 cases produced. Drink now through 2034.
Pronunciation: "FEE-Lia"

Blackberries, dark fruit, tar, tobacco leaf and toast on the nose. It’s full-bodied with firm, tight and chewy tannins. Structured and flavorful with a deep core of dark fruit and some smoke. Bitter chocolate and black tea on the finish. Long. 50/50 Petit verdot and merlot. Try from 2023.

More Merlot-dominated, the 2020 Figlia has a floral, perfumed style while still bringing plenty of depth and richness. Medium to full-bodied, nicely balanced, and concentrated, it has both red and blue fruits, lots of floral nuances, ripe tannins, and a great finish.

The 2020 Figlia is a Merlot and Petit Verdot blend that opens with a firm, dark red-fruited, generous nose with a juicy frame of dusty flowers and soft oak spices. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is balanced on the palate with fine-grained tannins before unwinding across the mid-palate to reveal a long, spicy finish. The wine rested for 20 months in French oak, 38% new. Give it another year or two in the bottle before opening. Only 1,370 cases were made.

A wine of precision and subtle torque, this blend offers distinctive currant, tobacco and black olive flavors that gather tension toward broad-shouldered tannins. Petit Verdot and Merlot. Drink now through 2030. 1,370 cases made.
