Winemaker Mariuccia Borio, a Barbera and organic wine specialist, blends mostly Barbera w/a touch of Nebbiolo for this wildly delicious Italian example of dry Rosé. Aromas of wild flowers, strawberries, raspberries, plums, licorice and cherry vanilla lead to more of the same in the mouth. Dry, fresh and juicy with great body, serve with salmon, pasta, tomatoes & basil, pizza, cheeses, olives, prosciutto and antipasto. Mariuccia was a founding member of Le Donne del Vino (renowned Italian Association of Women in Wine).
