The Pieropan winery was founded in 1880 in the heart of the medieval village of Soave. The Pieropans are both the founding family of the Soave zone and the benchmark for producers of Soave Classico. In the 1930s, Pieropan was the first winery to bottle a wine with the Soave name on the label, and the family repeatedly advanced Soave winemaking, including creating the first single vineyard Soave. Pieropan has received over 20 Tre Bicchieri (“Three Glasses”) from Gambero Rosso, the voice of Italian wine and food. With winemaking led by fourth generation winemaker Dario Pieropan, Pieropan Soave wines are in conversations worldwide about the best white wines of Italy.
Look for a delicate nose is reminiscent of almond blossoms and marzipan with good depth of fruit on the palate, and nicely balanced by a zingy acidity that refreshes its long finish. Pair with seafood, white meats, goat & sheep's milk cheeses and lighter charcuterie.

Every year Pieropan captures the soul of Soave, Garganega and the vintage in such a pristine way that it keeps us in awe. This vintage shines with aromas of Fuji pears, Anjou apples, lemon blossom and flint. The palate is crisp with green apple skin and lemon zest flavors that give way to toasted almonds, acacia honey and a minerality so deep that you might as well be in a quarry. Drink now-2040.

A lithe and racy white, with lively flavors of Asian pear and melon punctuated by lime blossom and blood orange zest accents. This is bright and graceful, with more fruit and a salty mineral layer on the finish. Garganega and Trebbiano. Drink now through 2025.
