Family-owned and operated, Provenance Vineyards began in 1999 and quickly earned a stellar reputation as a great Napa Valley Cabernet house. Over the years, Provenance expanded into also producing regional exclusives and single-vineyard wine for red Bordeaux-style blends as well as good white wine. Its founding family had the vision to produce fine wines that were true works of art of unique “provenance” or authentic origin.
Today, the Allen Lombardi family continues the quality drive at Provenance Vineyards. Attracted to its rich history, timeless style and strong growth potential, the Lombardis are committed to building the next chapter of the brand – increasing domestic distribution (and expanding globally) in fine wine shops and restaurants. The goal is make Provenance Vineyards wine more accessible to Napa wine lovers throughout the world.
This Cabernet is a velvety, full-bodied wine, showcasing plum and juicy fruit, chewy tannins and a dry finish. Made of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes selected from some of the best AVAs in Napa Valley, including Rutherford and Calistoga, while also incorporating single vineyard fruit from Diamond Mountain, Howell and St. Helena. Malolactic fermentation occurs in small barrels. Then, this Cabernet Sauvignon spends 18 months aging in French oak barrels.

Intense aromas of rich currants, tapenade, grilled red pepper and dark chocolate. Broad, ripe and structured on the palate with ample tannins and a long yet vertical finish. Opulent but refined. Drink or hold.

Ah, this is an engaging, mouthfilling wine, with everything in the right proportions for enjoyment now or later. A sleek texture, rich fruits and subtle oak spices weave together beautifully on a full body. Best from 2025.
