This certified organic 100% Syrah is made from grapes from 60% from Les Chassis and 40% from the original Crozes village of Crozes-Hermitage. The limestone soils in Chassis and granite in Crozes-Hermitage create a very complex terroir driven red. The vines are 40+ year old, the grapes are de-stemmed, the wine made with indigenous yeasts. Fermented and aged in concrete instead of oak, this was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
