Great wines are produced in unique places. Alta Vista’s 516 acres of estate vineyards are situated in the best terroirs of Mendoza, at 3,200 feet above sea level. Each vineyard receives expertise that is tailored to each grape variety via specific treatments called Terroir Management®. The wine undergoes extended maceration to extract aromas and intense color. Part of the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, before an additional 3 months aging in bottle. Look for notes of violet, pepper, cinnamon and licorice. In the mouth, it is a balanced combination of silkiness from the Malbec, structure and power from the Cabernet Sauvignon, and floral intensity from the Petit Verdot.

The 2021 Estate Malbec was produced with grapes from Valle de Uco (Campo de los Andes), and half of the wine matured in lightly toasted French oak barrels for one year. It's fruit-driven, with integrated oak that gives it a spicy twist and varietal aromas and flavors. It's sleek and polished, easy to drink. 300,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2022.
