One of our favorite humans on the entire planet is Tuscan estate owner Simone Santini. Nestled in the hills of Colli Senesi very close to the famous town of San Gimignano, Simone has been farming with organic methods since 1995, long before it became trendy to be 'natural'.  Teodoro is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Chianti in Tuscany, so it may be referred to as a Super Tuscan. Look for a deep, thick, dark purple color with intense aromas of currant, blackberry, caramel, grilled herbs and tobacco. Juicy red fruits dominate the palate with opulent, silky tannins, admirable purity and length. Serve with pesto ravioli, pasta pomodoro, artisan pizza, cured meats, meat pâté and cheeses.
