Lola Pinot Noir from California, embodies an easy-going, charismatic, full of flavor style which will be ultra tasty at Memorial Day BBQ's, PLUS it's an American wine to honor our veterans on the holiday with friends & family. Aged six months in oak, Lola Pinot has sexy, opulent flavors of ripe cherry, rose petals, chocolate and crème de cassis, and will please everybody in the backyard. Lola conveniently has a screwcap closure which we LOVE, especially outside in the summer when things are fun, casual and unpretentious...perfect with grilled chicken, burgers, hot dogs and more!
Founded by winemaker Seth Cripe in 2008, Lola Wines offers incredible values in classic California wines. A Napa Valley-based boutique winery with the vision of creating high quality, but approachable wines, the winemaking approach at Lola pays tribute to the old-world tradition with carefully selected vineyards and handcrafted in small batches. Lola’s portfolio consists of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Dry Riesling from Russian River, Sonoma Coast, Mendocino and Santa Lucia Highlands. At Lola, Seth does not believe in reinventing the wheels—he just makes lovely wines that are genuinely good, honestly priced, and simply delicious. His Pinot Noir here is made in a traditional manner with 20% whole clusters in open top fermenters and punch downs by hand. Only 2200 cases made.
