Bodega Norton Reserva Malbec 2018
Specially reserved due to its exceptional features, the Norton Reserva wines are characterized by their elegance and complexity. The Malbec Reserva is made from carefully selected grapes from vineyards aged between 30 and 50 years old. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels and then additionally in bottles before release. The harmonious coexistence of fruit and wood over time has made this a great wine, characterized by elegance and complexity. Look for an intense red color with purplish hues. In the nose, it is an expressive wine with ripe black fruits, violets, spices and tobacco. In the mouth, it is wide and fleshy with a lingering finish.

Wine AdvocateTheir top-selling 2018 Reserva Malbec now has a majority of grapes from the Valle de Uco, and they now only use second, third and fourth use barrels for the élevage, while in the past, there were 30% new barriques. It also has a more expressive nose of fresh fruit from the Valle de Uco. It has a touch of sweet spices intermixed with the black fruit and floral aromas, a commercial and approachable expression of the grape, with a medium-bodied palate and very fine tannins. An easy, approachable but serious textbook oak-aged Malbec in a very good and balanced year.
