Chalk Hill Estate Red 2016
This delicious artisinal red blend was aged for one year in French and American oak, made of 35% Syrah, 34% Merlot, 20% Malbec, 6% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It will please both Cabernet lovers and Big Bold Red lovers. Look for cherries, mocha, vanilla and cloves in the nose. On the palate, cherry, oriental spice and spices elegantly express the complexity of the Sonoma Coast AVA. Juicy and full bodied with soft tannins accented by sweet vanilla oak, this is a terrific American BBQ red.
