Charles de Fere Blanc de Blancs Brut Reserve
The founder of Charles de Fère started this sparkling wine company in the 1980's in Fère-en-Tardenois, to the North-West of Reims in the Champagne region. His desire was to make best use of the knowledge inherited from 5 family generations of wine-growers. Today, this French expertise continues with the winemaking, in a perpetual quest for elegance. The constant care that goes into making each “cuvee” has made Charles de Fère a benchmark reference for Premium Mousseux.
Today, Charles de Fère wines are crafted in Burgundy at the Boisset family’s state-of-the-art sparkling wine facility. True to its roots, Charles de Fère’s grapes continue to come from diverse terroirs throughout France, ensuring the best possible fruit for consistently excellent sparkling wines at a great value. The Blanc de Blancs is made with the traditional method and aged for a minimum of 12 months. Made of Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Chenin and Chardonnay. The proportion used of each grape variety changes every year to maintain the House style which is fresh, crisp and elegant. This pale and brilliant gold sparkling wine has white fruit aromas with fine bubbles. The palate is elegant, long – lasting and well balanced between freshness and fruit.
