VERNACCIA DE SAN GIMIGNANO LE CALCINAIE 2025 750ML 2025

We visited Simone Santini at his vineyard, Tenuta Le Calcinaie, near San Gimignano and tasted his full range of organic, classic Tuscan wines. Across the board, both the whites and reds were ripe, pure, energetic and utterly charming, just as the winemaker is! Le Calcinaie has 12 hectares covered with vines with perfect exposure, beautifully tended. This white is made of 100% Vernaccia grape, aged in stainless steel. It's super fresh and thirst quenching with lemon, mineral, white flower and white melon flavors. Serve with goat and sheep's milk cheeses, shellfish and lemony chicken dishes.
